We recently sat down with Brother Ben Flores ‘92 for a brief Q&A about his time in the chapter and what he’s been up to since then:
Q: What have you been up to since college?
A: I have been working in the housing industry. I am currently the General Manager for Clayton Homes in Oxford, NC.
Q: Why did you choose SigEp UNC in the first place?
A: My step-father was a Sig Ep and he recommended that I check them out when I returned to school after serving in the Army. I did and pledged that first fall. The brotherhood was composed of men from different areas of the country with varied interests in life pursuits. I liked the fellowship the fraternity offered.
Q: What are some of your favorite memories from SigEp UNC?
A: Some of my favorite memories are Slugfest fund raising events for the Ronald McDonald house, pledge trip and beach trips. My four-year experience was excellent. Some memories are better left unpublished due to the positions my brothers now hold in their businesses and communities - but they are epic.
Q: What is your biggest accomplishment?
A: Trying to be a good father and husband to my family.
